Had an early morning recording/mixing session today working on a song called So Good. This was was written in about 15 minutes back in about 2003. Because it’s stuck in my head, I figured I would post the chart for it. -JC

Vox, Bass and Claps

We had a very productive night last night recording. Lots of fun. We laid down vocals on 5-Second Rule and Breakup Sushi. Got bass on CB. Then we added 4 tracks of claps to CB. The claps were particularly cool and intense.

We’re really excited about this album. It has a fairly wide variety of styles covered. The recording process has been laid back and creative. We’re shooting for having it available for purchase New Year’s Eve.

Up In The Air

We recorded bass, vocals and – you heard it right – trumpet on a new tune tonight called Up In The Air (for the moment). I hesitate somewhat to share an early mix, but I feel like you need it to accompany the pictures.

Saturday Night’s Alright

We had an absolute blast Saturday night playing for the enthusiastic crowd at the Dickson Street Pub. We’ve been playing there a bit lately, and we’ve yet to be disappointed with the experience. We’ll be back there on October 7th. Keep an eye out.

Album #2 Begins

We started laying down scratch – and not scratch – tracks for the second album. As of tonight we have 5 songs with bass ready for Chuck to lay down some rhythm. Even though it’s not much substance yet, it’s sounding really good. Well on its way. We’re really excited for you to hear it. As soon as we have rough mixes we’ll start to post them.
